SomatoEmotional Release is an organic discovery and integration of involved emotions, memories or otherwise mental/emotional aspects of a client that are related to the physical body. Because tissues have the ability to hold memory, as they unwind, release and reorganize during CranioSacral Therapy, there is then a potential to know, understand and reorganize the associated mental/emotional aspect as well.
Consider this interview between myself and Candace Pantoga, a fellow CrainoSacral Therapist in the midwest. We talk about the details of being on the therapist side of CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release, and what goes into an average session.
